Finally another entry...

I am finally on a day where I have no plans. While thinking and dreaming about this day for a long time, now I'm not quite sure what to do. To bad it's raining here in Canton, or else I would have lots of ideas.

Scott and I have finally booked the trip. Myrtle Beach, Aug 19-22. This will be my first time on a plane (only 1hr 54min to SC!), and first time seeing the ocean. I'm sooooo excited. We're saving some money by staying at a Days Inn, and I'm already going crazy thinking about the beach. Hooray! I can't wait!

Props to Holly and Emily finding an apartment in Chicago. I can't believe they are going to be that far away. Holly will be right in her niche in Law School. Congratulations!

Last night Scott and I went on the Plymouth-Canton bar crawl. Granted, it was only the two of us, but we decided it needed a name. First we went to the bar called "336" and we kept wanting to sing that Ja Rule song where say that. That was a martini bar, which was cool, but we felt kinda young in there (creepy staring old men) and the drinks were really expensive. But they had this cool jazz band which was fun. The next bar was the Box Bar. It was pretty empty but we were hungry and they have good food. Oh, and they had Woodpecker Cider. That, is better than Strongbow. For those of who have never tried the glory that is dry cider, you must. Two glasses of that and I was starting to feel a little happy. Finally, we went to O'Calaghan's which was really crowded but fun. We are in training for going back to EL and going on bar crawls with the best of them. I don't want to fall behind!

Work is good, I have my own BMW project now. It's pretty sweet, although I'm finding that I don't want to work in automotive. Biomedical is definitely the field for me, and this job has made me sure of it. Friday at work I got to learn how to use the Defribrillator and got a refresher on CPR, so if there is ever an emergency, you can count on me. :-)

On another note, I can't wait to go live in Butterfield. Having a single is going to be awesome. I miss MSU (if you haven't heard) and can't wait to go back to living in the college bubble.

GO PISTONS!
