What a great relaxing day; one of few that will occur this semester I'm sure.
I only had one class at 4 so I had a lot of time today to sit and think to myself. On my walk back from the Engineering Building, I heard the marching band practicing and thought how glad I am that I'm not doing that. They were playing Bon Jovi's "livin on a prayer" which was awesome... until I heard the worse marching device ever, the Doctor. Fellow former band members know of the torture that it caused. It haunted my dreams during high school. In essence, I smile now because I don't have to deal with stuff like that.
Last night a big engineering group went to Harpers for half-off Wednesdays. It was sooooo fun, and Margaret, Gareth, and I got Pokey Stiks afterwards (SOOO good). The whole group had a blast, and hopefully I'll have some time to do this again a couple times before graduation. I found the bartender that looked like Dr. Kovach from ER, gave him a good tip, and he gave me very strong drinks for the rest of the night.
so hungry, going for dinner
god bless the hurricane victims
