(no subject)
so i just finished my last day of classes. so far so good- all my classes seem to be pretty awesome... except physics, physics still can shove it up the pooper. yesterday was hell for the first day of school though! i had 4 classes that ran from 9:30am all the way to my 4:30 class that ends at 7:10. so thursdays, along with physics, can shove it up the pooper. my currins 100 class is friggin sweet!!! i finally get to teach! we have to do 50 hours of teaching or assisting and i am soooooooooooo excited! my currins teacher is also a 4th grade teacher at this school on campus so he has his 4th grade students pairing up with my currins class and doing a penpal dealy. its sweet! my penpal is this cute little black boy named Stephone! He wrote me such an awesome letter- i am seriously going to frame it! its going to be my inspiration for teaching. i seriously was so anxious to meet Stephone that i went to the school today and hung out with him for lunch and recess. boy, do i ever miss recess. i brought my camera and took lots of pictures of all the kids and of course some random kids that just wanted to get in the pictures, but they are all cool none theless. i love these kids so much- they are all so awesome! i will put the pictures up online but i dont know if they will be available today. i also went to talk with one of the ex. ed. teachers and will be working with her for my 50 hours of class time! unfortunately we are not paid for that and i am still desperate for a job around here. if any of you have suggestions besides the obvious options of prostitution and selling drugs, let me know. i need money like whoa.
Marty is coming home tomorrow for the very very last time. i know i said that the last time he was home was the last time but i guess i lied- get over it. im not sure if i mentioned in a previous entry but hes not really supposed to come home but he is anyway- take that george dubba! so i have to drive all the way to o'hare to pick the butthole up. then he leaves on tuesday. i am going to skip my classes on tuesday... maybe all of them- im not sure. i have buttfucking physics on tuesday so i am nervous about skipping that- so i might just go to that gay class since its just a 50 minute lecture.
i am all moved into the apartment in milwaukee for good finally! i moved in last tuesday. i was supposed to move in yesterday because my gay ass advisor told me earlier this year that classes start the same time as last year which is the tuesday after labor day. well apparently shes a stupid broad. i didnt find out classes started this week until this past monday. so i hurried up to move all my shit up here. i have my meow meows here and my landlord doesnt know. we can have pets- we just have to pay extra. the apartment is already $1050 a month so i dont do any 'extra'. when we were moving all my stuff in the landlord totally walked past my car with all the cat toys and litter box and cat food and everything in plain view... looked at it... walked up to me and mi madre next to my cats in a little carrying case that says in HUGE letters "PETCO PET CARRIER" and just continued talking to us about moving in and what not. thank god shes not that smart and cant put two and two together. seriously, she has a few screws loose upstairs!
on wednesday i went to visit my grandpa bud and my grandma G. we (me my mom and aunt) drove to their farm house in ILL. and had lunch. my grandpaps isnt doing too well. he had cancer in his throat which spread to his liver and now spread to his brain. its only effecting 3 spots on his brain but thats still 3 spots too many. but to tell you the truth, i think it was the happiest i have ever seen him. he kept cracking these little jokes like "since i started feeling sick, i kept telling myself it was all in my head...and i was RIGHT!" i love that guy so much. hes such a fighter and i really look up to him. i dont know what i am going to do if he gets worse. blah! anyway, enough depressing stuff!!! i guess i gotta put my school stuff together and what not- i just spent over $300 in books... yippy! i love school.
