MY THOUGHTS:
The planet Mercury is in retrograde. This means that instead of following its normal course through the heavens, Mercury appears to move backwards. This is merely our perception of the event though, and perhaps that is why elements of our lives that Mercury symbolizes go haywire. For example, the last time Mercury went in retrograde a hose in my car burst, incapacitating it for a time. Mercury is again in retrograde and my car won't start. My dog is missing. Coincidence? Mercury traditionally was the guardian of bandits and travelers, trade and agreements, and medicine. Movement in retrograde unties those things that Mercury is supposed to watch over. You may think that I am superstitious after reading this; but when you start synchronizing events, you begin to see trends. This retrograde period lasts until November 17th. Astrology is just another aspect of control. Anyhow, Mercury transits the Sun on Wednesday beginning 2:12 EST.
