Day in the Life

A fun day spent on myself. I got up and ate a bowl of cereal while watching an episode of the twilight zone (Adam & Eve) and rejected the notion that it may start taxing my already overworked crown chakra so early in the morning. Thankfully a headache wasn't the culmination of this worry and I enjoyed a large cup of white tea.

I got ready for school but due to my lacksadaisical preparatory habit, I was still at home when my first class began. The course is mostly accesible online, and I did my days assignment and submitted through the internet. by this time i was ready to go to my next class and left hurriedly through the door. on the way to my class i drank the entire contents of my nalgene bottle (32 oz. of water).

i ran to my music appreciation class because i did not want to miss the lecture (on Richard Wagner), and i was not late, although my professor was in an advanced state of beginning the class. we watched the final scene from Die Walküre, and i had goosebumps and my knuckles were white. after the scene i was in a cold sweat. the music was exciting and thrilling and my bladder crying to relieve itself of the the 32 oz. of water i had greedily consumed. i tried to make it through the class, but the hand on the clock moved too slowly. my agonizing bladder! 5 minutes before the end of the class, i hastily threw my things in my bag and swiftly moved out the door and down the hall to the men's restroom. inexplicable relief, i don't recall a more enlightening encounter with a urinal. i was so glad, i decided to leave school and come home, skipping my biology class.

when i got home, i made a large sandwich and enjoyed that tasty bit. afterwards i went for a walk with my dog toby. we ran down the street and around the corner enjoying the beautiful warm breeze. one of toby's most favorite things to do is run. his second most favorite activity is to retrieve objects he must run to catch. this could be a ball, a frisbee, or sometimes a small animal. Most times the animal is a squirrel or occasionally a duck. Today it was ducks. toby saw the ducks bobbing up and down in a small stream, and he began barking and jumped into the stream after the pair of ducks, which burst into flight and glided upstream. toby kept barking and swimming, never coming close to the ducks. At this point toby was muddy and we continued walking, while toby became more and more muddy. we walked to our community pool where i kindly, but sternly told toby to sit. i picked him up and dropped him in the pool. he swam and swam enjoying the pool (his only fear is that of entry) and he swam to the steps. he shaked off the water and we walked home...
