Why does it get harder to wait when you have a set date?

I've seen this screencap before, and I've been anxiously waiting to see which episode this is. This is the only companion I've ever actually WANTED to see the Doctor snog; although only because no matter what the reason is for it, it's going to be HILARIOUS and awkward and awful and STRANGELY HOT and fanfic fodder for days and days and days. Unless they ruin it somehow, although I can't imagine how. The Doctor and Donna don't exactly have a fragile relationship.
ALSO. I've come to the conclusion that, generally speaking, DoctorDonnaFriendsWithBenefits fans >>>>> Doctor/Rose fans. Because we actually don't WANT the fabric of the universe torn apart so our pairing can be emo over each other, thankyouverymuch.
WE'D JUST LIKE THEM TO BE AWESOME AND SHAG MORE OKAY.
