Drama, blah

Okay, more feminist-related drama on my friends list, most of which isn't worth addressing. But the best part of it is that I just finished an exchange in some twit's journal, in which she variously accused me of:

-being interested in feminism and critical race theory only because I attended an anti-racism meeting at my college, held hands and sang kumbayas

After I debunked THAT one, it became:

-only having learned anything about racism and feminism on the internets
-"smelling" like a male [she looked, but she didn't look too hard, obviously]
-being in her journal to explain sociology to her [discussion of sociology didn't even COME UP]

Then she proceeded to:

-slam my school because she hadn't heard of it, and was confused as to how I could be taking the program I am where I am
-announce that she was anti-porn [like I said, she looked, right? and totally missed what I was complaining about...]
-announce that she believes ADHD is overdiagnosed and generally used as an excuse [because knowing what you're talking about before you open your mouth is for PLEBES!]

Oh, and my "sore spot" is my school, because that was the last thing I responded to her about. Not her classism, no - I'm just SO HURT that she doesn't have a fucking clue where I go to school. Yeah, I have SO many qualms about attending an institution with my school's track record; I'm really scraping the bottom of the barrel!

If anyone doubts the true focus of her comments, some samples! She has said the following, verbatim (not all to me):

You're a fucking racist wannabe person of color and you are 26 and still in college at one of the worst universities in California.

And...

As a disabled person who has had some trouble getting through school, at 26, to still be in college is embarrassing if you're not also disabled.

And...

And I believe that ADHD is an overdiagnosed mental illness and that most people with "ADHD" are just using that as an excuse for their poor grades and their inability to get into any better of a school than a technical college. [THAT was to me.]

That's just the parts that were funniest to me (since, you know, most of the above was a direct back-and-forth between us), but this actually spans several hundred comments in various places. And in every place she commented, it was ALL LIKE THAT.

Yeah, REAL winner.

I seriously can't believe this crazy hasn't been banned from feminist yet.

Need to eat.
