The trip to Ireland bit the big one. Due to large amounts of grit in the air, our plane was grounded and I´ve been scrambling to put a roof over my head back in Spain. Alright, slightly dramamtic, but still, I´ve never had to make unexpected plans like this.

The hostel was fine but a headache to locate. I thought I knew hostel ediquete but I was sorely mistaken...am I friendly with my temporary roommates? Can I stay in the room and read a book, or is that weird? The girl from the UK was nice, but the two boys were silent. & slept in thier underwear. I don´t know how I felt about that.

So for the day I´ve been wandering around with a bag full of winter clothes destined for Dublin. After four hours in Starbucks I culdn´t take it anymore and I stumbled into an internet cafe.

This is an interesting environment. Most people here are from all over the world- people crying into headphones and waving to cameras. Catching up on news, yelling in foreign languages. Baby picutures flash over screens and families crowd around news clips on YouTube. Like a hospital or a jail, life going on 100 miles an hour and everyone oblivious to the others around thenm, doing the same things.

Tonight luckily my favorite friendly German is letting me crash her piso. Have I mentioned that every single German I´ve met has been insanely nice? Thanks, Germany. We´ll hang out for a bit and I´ll wait WITH NO MORE PATIENCE AT ALL for the boy to arrive Tuesday ç.

If this volcano messes up THAT plan, I´ll fly that damn plane myself. Can´t be too hard.
