hippy harrison - update
the poll was rigged and thus abandoned. (bill voted three times for isabelle in one evening.) things discovered about housemates during this exercise:
1. isabelle used to wear a kaftan under a waistcoat to uni and had long red dreads. she has sinced shaved her head and started wearing deoderant and shampoo. thus claiming she is reformed.
2. carol used to be a socialist but is now queer as they come (apparently)
3. matthew (compost-heap-dwelling-trailor-trash) used to live in a communal house with a clothes room. no-one owned their own clothes - there were only "the people's clothes". but that was in the 70s.
4. sarah (also trailor-trash) has a B.A. from melbourne uni and an apprenticeship as a panel beater.
how this information informs their hippy status i do not know.
