Howdy ,
Well Wednesday I finally did t. I played in a real live poker tournament. I signed up for $125 entry fee and in return got $2500 in chips and sat down withh 30 other player ( no not natthe same table ) ,to play for $1000. I didn't stop shaking for the first hour or two, however after three hours I was still there. I made it to the final table ( 10 of us) with about $10000 in chips , pretty good shape, but high blinds ($1200) whittled my chips away and I finally had to go all in with A-9. The guy who called me had a pair of kings , so I finished 6th. no bad for a first tournament, too bad they only pay the top 5.
Also yesteday we went to the South Point casino about 10 miles south of the Strip. I is a huge casino, that has an equine area, practise arena and lots of cowboys. You kids would have loved it. Played the slots, ate good food and Dad got a haircut, (not clippers up the side).
Off to another casino today, and maybe a show tonight.
ps i slept in until 9:30 this morning so you know how much the tournament took out of me, (I was in bed by 12:30.
