Originally uploaded by SketchyBeanThis went through a few phases. FIrst I sketched a rough outline in pencil, and I tried coloring it with an airbrush. It came out way too blurry for my tastes, so I re-did it with the paint tool.
I couldn't get the shadow to feel quite right, but i think it had mostly to do with the lack of blending modes between layers in Painter. the color lair had low opacity towards the edges, and it alway came through as an opaque "white", rather than showing the shadow beneath.
