Last night I had a super mellow night. Erin and I went to dinner at the Green Lake Bar & Grill and took advantage of the happy hour prices. They had one of those deals with the $1.95 appetizers and $2.95 small meal things. We both ordered two different plates and a strong drink each and the bill was $18. I love that kinda shit.
After eating we decided to walk around the lake. Unfortunately I was wearing my cherry steel toes. I guess I've never really worn them when I've been doing too much activity even though I've had 'em forever. The 3 mile walk created monstrous blisters on my heels. So after that I decided to just stay home for the rest of the night instead of being the crazy party animal. Or something.
I felt very virtuous. haha
Wednesday night was another doozy. The Dwarves and Fitz of Depression at Graceland. I only watched a couple songs of Fitz but they sounded good. Watched most of the Dwarves set but having a teeny little shrunken dick just above my head was getting to be a bit much after a while. I've seen them many times, seen the blow job on stage, naked chicks running around, etc. But standing where I was proved to be too close for comfort. Especially when Hewhocannotbenamed put his foot up on the monitor. Keep your undercarriage to yourself there buddy. Somehow after the show the evening turned into another marathon talking session. It's really nice to have those people you can truly lean on.
I can't decide what to do with myself tonight.
