I've been slackin' on this here lj thing.
The weekend was fun stuff. Friday night was Jeremiah's birthday down at Sunset Bowl. It was the Kellys, Harbaugh & Gina, Chad & Noriko, a super nice couple named Heather and Tony I think, Bonni, Joe, Rachel for a bit... maybe others I don't recall right now. It can be funny to watch drunkards bowling and Jeremiah takes the cake with that one, throwing his ball into other lanes, falling down stairs, etc.
We spent some time in the lounge where a few people pulled out some karaoke greats. Of course Noriko had to do Living on a Prayer. I don't believe it's possible for her to be within 500 yards of a karaoke bar without being drawn to do that song. :)
Saturday I swung by the Hollowpoints place where they were doin' up some barbecue before heading down to Graceland to see the Amazombies with the Rotton Apples, Free Verse, and the Octabites. Chick band show! I only watched my girls though because I'm lame like that. I hung out in the bar talking to various people.
At some point, Kristyn (Joel's awesome lady) bought me a drink and we sat down and started chatting. It turned into a couple hours of us just gabbing and laughing like old friends. Every time Joel walked by he'd look at us with an "oh shit" look on his face. He probably thought we were talking about him all night. haha. On the contrary, we were talking about a ton of stuff and his name was probably only mentioned a couple of times but it was still fun to let him think it. That girl rocks, totally sweet and funny. We stayed a few hours after closing then all ended up at the 5 Point. I got home about 5:30. Ugh.
