I am back from Easter break! I headed to Alabama! And also without my knowledge until later I went to Georgia as well! So to start:
Thursday morning I went to class, gotta love having health and wellness nice and early. After that I proceeded to head to my practicum with Stacey, my very lovely ride every Thursday for the past few months. That was fun because it was the students Easter egg hunt day and I proceeded to wear paper bunny ears throughout the day :) I helped to hide the eggs and watching the 60 "bunnies" run around was entertaining and rewarding because of their faces when they found one. I will truly miss my practicum, this coming Thursday is my last day. I am so bringing my camera.
After my practicum was over I quickly headed back to campus and then proceeded to finish packing, grab my friend that was kind enough to bring me homew ith her and then find our ride. In the car was Ari, Carisa, myself and our lovely driver Trey. They all put up with me for around 6 hours. One restroom stop and one food break and then lots of sleep and games of "five" questions. On the way home I basically just passed out so I don't really know what went on.. but apparently I was difficult to wake up and Trey's hoodie was very comfortable.
I went swimming for the first two days, experianced very very heavy rain and lightening and such, and enjoyed playing Halo with Carisa's brother. I also got to go to a very interesting Chinese restuarant taht had two koi ponds outside and a clear floor inside that you could see swimming koi underneath you! I also got very very sunburnt.
Anyway to Easter Sunday.. I went to Georgia! It wasn't far from where I was in Alabama so it was a fun little trip. I proceeded to meet Bob the chicken, play Balderdash in Sunday School and so word searches through the sermon. No I am not a bad kid, I was following the leadership of the girl i was staying with. Carisa :) But I met Caleb, Jessica, Ashley, and Amanda. I already knew Aaron due to the fact that is Carisa's brother.
I helped cook, I got the lovely large spider out of the pool, I got scared by a gnome. I loved every minute of my little break. The important thing however is EASTER. Jesus died for us, he rose again. We are clean. We jsut ask and it is given unto us. (Sorry, reminded of the song Seek Ye First...) Anyway. I think that concludes my entry for now. School ends in two weeks and I go home home in three. :) I can't wait.
