After all the craziness, FF and I saw on the 11 o' clock news that there was a meteor shower, and there would be an average of 1/minute from midnight to 6am. WOO HOO!!
First I went outside with the dog, on a leash, in the pitch black! Fortunately FF said he would meet us out there in a few minutes. By the time FF came out the front door, the dog and I were completely entangled with a tree. I screamed down to FF "bring a flashlight!" Good thing he did, because the dog and I wrapped all 25 feet of the leash around just one tree. She and I were just 3 feet from each other, but I had no idea where she was or how we could get untangled. FF brought out the flashlight, we got untangled, looked up at the gorgeous shooting stars for a few minutes, and FF and the dog went back inside
Then I sat in a chair and watched the meteors for 10-15 minutes all by myself, in the middle of the night....
