It has become interesting to ask the age of Professional Guests of Honor at the World Science Fiction Convention. And how long they were working in the field before the Worldcon honored them.
To do HTML tables:

[th]col1 header[/th][th]col2 header[/th]

col1 datacol2 data

to add cell borders (or higher numbers to make them bigger).
is a row container. [th] and are header and data containers respectively.
If a cell should span multiple columns/rows:
So your first table might start out looking something like this: LastFirstBirth Year GernsbackHugo1884 SmithEdward E1890 ad astra per aspera, et cetera
I still think it's a shade early for Niel -- not horribly so, and his impact does make up for the longevity. I fully support the 25-30 year rule for Worldcon GoH, but I'm flexible enough about it.
Besides, as I've said before. That sin is more than made up for by Tom Doherty getting tapped.
The WSFS by-laws do not specify a criterion for GOH age.The WSFS bylaws don't say we need badges either. Tradition is *far* more important a factor in how we run Worldcons that the WSFS Constitution, which requires that you award Hugos via a certain process (but not a ceremony), that you hold site selection for the worldcon-after-next, also via a certain process, and that you hold the business meeting

A trick, if want to do a quick edit, would be to use the pre-formated, not preformated commands, so that the information is typewritter spaced (mono-spaced) if you had used spaces or tabs in the original document before pasting it in. By the convention above replace [ ] with captial comma and captial period. Earliest Birth Year [pre] Lastname Firstname Birth Year Gernsback Hugo 1884 ... Gaiman Neil 1960 [/pre]

Another TD point: Neil Rest points out that, given all of the beer of his that we drank, Tom Doherty should be a worldcon Fan Guest of Honor.
