2 grades

Those of you that read this (probably just me) will know that Federal Income Tax Law has been the bane of my semester. The professor was awful, the materials were awful, and the subject matter was awful.

Within a day I realized the textbook wasn't worth reading. I didn't touch it after the first week. Within a week I realized the professor was useless and I just cruised the internet during the class. I received a standing ovation from 5 or 6 kids before the final because I showed up with the law book, all 2000ish pages, still in the plastic wrap (yes, I actually did get a standing ovation. We law kids are nerds.)

A. Yes, an A. Which means, as I had been saying for a while now, my new method of class will be not touching the books. Although I do not know precisely where this A came from.

Business Associations, a class I loved, paid attention to, and (somewhat) read, was a B. On one hand I'm very disappointed. I think I mentioned how my exam schedule screwed me over very much for this one, but it's not a very valid excuse, just a moderately comforting one. I had one day to study and it wasn't enough, I simply should have taken some before.
What's nice, though, is Chris. Chris is Dan's roommate. Dan tolerates him, we don't like him (well, Jerry often/sometimes does.) Chris had been condescending to me over BA when we took a practice exam. I took the actual one a week before him and finished an hour and a half early. Chris later sent me an email saying something snide about that, then sent Jerry one saying "anyone that finished early is screwed," or something more pointed about me. Well, Chris got a C+. Normally I do not enjoy basking in the downfall of others (I grew out of it.) In this case I will make an exception.

I still think there's an important lesson to be learned from all of this.
You can learn the exams without bothering with the cases.
(maybe I should wait for the other 3 grades before I make these claims.)
For the time being it's just nice to know that Tax is over. Done. And I won.
