Anything but studying!!!
It's one in the morning right now, and I'm sitting here with a stack of 50 notecards, my Spanish book, my Spanish workbook, and a Spanish grammar book, trying to figure out everything that's going to be on this test tomorrow. There's a four page essay on America's relationship with Latin America, but it's in Spanish, and our teacher said that would be a large part of the test. So, I'm trying to read all of this. American political history is fun, but it's not in Spanish.
Anywhoo, that's just the precursor to this post. This post is really about procrastination--the kind that strikes dead any efforts of studying by college students--Facebook and AIM. Well, I played the facebook game much earlier in the evening and had plenty of fun. The thing about AIM, though is that EVERYONE is always away, without exception. It's so weird when someone is actually on and talking. So, I'm looking at everyone's away messages which I do, and I'm sure everyone else does too. Well, I stumble upon a most comical one by Ali.
Her away message is: "i heart dreams..... especially the sex ones ;-)" with heart in large pink letters. Directly below her away message is her profile. The first part of that is "don't let your dreams stay dreams." I'm not sure if everyone else finds this as humorous as I do, but I think that's great. I guess we all know what Ali's looking for, but maybe I'm just reading too much into her away message and profile. Well, good luck Ali. May the force be with you.
Once again, I changed my song that was playing to a new one. It was Elton John Candle in the Wind. I'm not sure why I don't mind writing it here, but I just don't like it in the music field on my post. I know that's weird, but it bothers me.
