Fall Break, Election, Skydiving!!!!!

Well, it's a lazy Thursday afternoon, so I decided to update my LJ.  Let's see, college is still going well.  Fall break was great.  I headed to Beaufort for the weekend and got to spend some quality time with Caroline.  It was fun.  We went swimming in the ocean for a grand ten seconds before we realized it was too cold and just relaxed in Beaufort.  I headed back to Hartsville for a couple of days with the family.  I voted in my first presidential election over fall break!!!!  It was so exciting.  The election official got kind of hostile when I questioned why the electronic voting machines had no print out record.  I mean, if they order a recount, there's no way to verify my vote, and that bugs me a lot.  Oh well, I'll write a letter to the election board.  I'm a big fan of letter writing now.  I guess that's kind of weird.

I got back to school Tuesday night and realized I had 200+ pages of reading that I ignored over fall break.  That was fun.  I didn't get to go to the Cake concert because I had missed too many badminton homework sessions, and I didn't want to miss the debate.  So, I rushed back to the room to watch the debate.  I had already cast my vote, but it was still awesome to see John Kerry kick some butt.  I thought Bush did a decent job too.  While I'm on a politics, Georgia has this psycho proposed amendment to strip away all rights to homosexual couples that's rediculous.  I would just throw that in.

Today, I just had badminton class, and we had our midterm exam today.  It only took about thirty minutes, and then I headed back to the room for a little more sleep and relaxation.  Now, I'm just sitting here avoiding a butt load of reading ad my religion paper.  College is a rediculous amount of work.  In less than two days, I will be jumping out on airplane at 14,000 feet and hurtling toward the ground at 120 mph.  I can't believe I'm going to go skydiving.  I'll make sure to post pictures.  I'm getting the film guy to go up and jump with me to take pictures and a video.  I figure I might as well since I'll most likely only go once.  So, yeah, if I don't make it, you guys are great!  I hope everyone's going well.
