♥ 『fifth card 』
If I add up all the months and days, I've been here for over a year all together. That's a long time, huh?
During that time, I've- I've...seen a lot of scary things, many things I couldn't believe. People would get hurt or even- killed during curses, and there were even people out there that would harm others for fun.
...Tomoeda isn't like that at all.
It's a pretty town with nice people and small neighborhoods with wide streets lined with trees - lots of cherry blossom trees, especially! My favorite place is this playground with a giant penguin slide. When we were little, my friends and I used to play on the slide every week. And even now, we go there a lot; we've captured a few cards there, and once Tomoyo-chan made me pick up the slide for a photo! That was really, really embarrassing.
But I don't dislike the City.
How could dislike a place where I've met so many special people? It would have been impossible, meeting so many people from different worlds, without the City to bring us all together. Now I have so many friends to cherish.
I've also learned a lot in the City. I know that not everyone's a nice person, but I've also learned that for every bad person, there's two more out there with hearts of gold. And I've also learned that even if I'm young and small, I can help in big ways with my magic.
As much as I miss Tomoeda, I can still find happiness in the City. ♥
