Remember when?

“Remembers when some people were prettier and innocence was bliss.” ~ Emmy Reape.

What a concept, right? I mean, think about it. When we were younger beauty was different, you saw only what people wanted you to see. The innocence of your mind made everything better. The world was beautiful and a flawless. As we age and see the world for what it is, it losses it’s luster and grace. As we see the world for what it is, we are also hardened.

I wish there was something, anything that could be done. But its like snow, you can’t make it white once its dirty and gross. The first blanket is beautiful then the plows come and we can’t wait for May.

Beauty. Something we all strive to be. Stunning. Something we wish to be. What is a red shiny apple if there is a worm inside? What is a model if she is rude and selfish? What is a shiny car if it doesn’t run? What does it matter if rotting on the side?

I’m sick of being luke warm water. Even cold water is useless. Hot water cleans, makes coffee, tea, or hot coco. To be on fire, to clear the cob webs of indifference. Is my dream.
