My speech disorder- Cluttering
Yesterday i went to a BBQ at Mike and Amanda's. It was a great time to see old friends and even make new ones. However, i think the best part was the fact that we were all the same people we knew years ago. Things happened that's for sure but we were the same people nonetheless. It was nice just being me for a while. I wasn't "Chris's wife" or Miss Emmy. I was Emmy Lou, the same girl i was in high school. Granted, i am married but i didnt have to pretend i knew everything, and the fact when i clutter my words a little and even make a fool of myself; here i can just laugh it off and move on But other places, i end up just shutting my trap and feeling like my face was going to burn off from embarrassment.
It was great laughing, joking and picking on one another as though no time has time since we last saw each other. I miss that innocence.
