Honored!
Well, yesterday I was not sure if I was going to go to the funeral or not. The way that the cost of the flights was looking, it wasn't looking good. Well, I am now officially going. Tonight I came home from seeing a friend and my mom asked if I still wanted to go. I said yes and she said that my aunt and my cousin Julie (Chris's wife) had asked if I would play trumpet for the funeral. I felt very honored that they asked! So, mom and I are flying out early Wed. morning and will be returning some time on Sat. I will be playing anywhere from 1-4 pieces during hte service. I really can't express how I feel about this, honored is the best that I can do! I don't know, maybe that sounds wierd, but that is how I feel.
So, I went to see a friend today. We hadn't seen eachother in a while. We just sat around her appartment for a while then we went to see a movie. We saw "About a Boy." Ladies, it was pretty good, guys, you probably would't like it. It is about a guy and his views on life and how they change and all that stuff, so there you have it.
So anyway, that was pretty much my day. Ok well, I think it is about bed time. I figure if I try to go to sleep before midnight I might actually fall asleep before 2 or 3. Hey, at least I am getting a lot of reading done, that's kind of nice!
