Scary Sev. Guy Strikes Again
I think I just need to stop going to sev. early in the morning! I stopped there again this morning on my way out, at about 5:30. So, as I go to pay for my coffee and my water I am trying to mentally prepare myself once again for the ongoing battle for change! Well I think I lost this morning. As I already noted, it was 5:30 and I had not gotten much sleep for a long time and didn't even try, just let the little thief keep the extra 21 cents. Oh well, maybe next time.
This has been a pretty good weekend. Friday night started off with a great dinner, well after waiting for some wayward travelers. After that, I just have two words for you, HOT TUB, which was really nice because my back has been hurting a lot lately! Sat. I got to glaze my beautiful pot! Then that night I went to the Music Man, it was really good, even if the poster for it sucked!
This morning I played trumpet in church and directed the children's choir! Everything went really well, well mostly anyway. There was that little unfortunate time when I first stepped up on the podium to direct the children and almost fell off in front of the whole congregation!! Yeah, I did the whole balancing struggle thing with my arms out, looking quite like a dork, but hey, I did not fall! So far the rest of the day has been spent grading, lesson planning, and oh yeah, a 2 1/2 hour nap, that was nice. Now it is time to finish recording grades and go to bed! Shuch is the life of a teacher, but hey, it's my life, and I like it (usually anyway)! Only 6 more teaching days left!!!!!!!! But who's counting?
