my girls are gone :(
so....i'm sitting my room in Nyland (room 321) looking around, and what do i see???? NOTHING!!!!!!! :( erika is gone and her whole side of the room is completely empty...It's sooo depressing! So, let's back up a little bit. First was Heather. She left on Monday night and we were all very sad, but it didn't sink in (it still hasn't) that she was leaving because we knew she'd be back (considering she only lives 20 minutes from here). Then came Sara. Again, very sad, but this time a little sadder because although she too only lives 20 minutes away...she didn't want to come back for one last "debriefing" time. So then came the Magpie. Goodness am I going to miss that girl. She left last night at about 8:45ish after a fun game of Apples to Apples and hanging out in Gillies for a long time waiting for her ride. Now at this time, things started getting really sad and the reality that we all really were leaving for three months started to sink in, but kuk, leeshie, and emilalala were still around, so it was ok. But this morning we had our last breakfast together. I watched Leesh walk away waving about every two steps....oh so very sad. Then Emilalala left and Kukah, Joe (kuk's dad) and I went to applebees. So much fun, but then I came back here and had to say goodbye to the best roommie ever! :( **tear, tear**. And now I'm here, sitting in my room, doing absolutely nothing, and waiting for 4:30 to roll around when i'll get to go to Lane once again and clean the dishes of the two people who will show up to lane tonight.
Well folks, let's just say it sucks! I was the first person (well, me and mags i guess...) to get here from our little group....and the very LAST one to leave!! I'm kicking myself for not taking the stupid MTEL before now. Oh well, such is life. And at least tomorrow Heather and I are gonna hang out all day, which will be fun. But SEEMBAH...I really do miss you all already....it's gonna be one long summer (even though I can't WAIT to see my people from home :-D)
