a fun weekend....
Ok, so, let's start with Thursday. Jen and Kuk left right after our quiz in NT and I had to work that night :-p, but it was all good. Nothing too interesting happened thursday, i think i was all by my onesies that night, but i don't really remember. So, Friday I had my two classes and then Heather and I hung out watching movies and stuff. It was fun, but not too memorable. So, Saturday I woke myself up good and early and went to the homeless ministry. SO AWESOME!! WOW!! It blows my mind away when I think about what an awesome ministry it is. What we do is go into Boston every Saturday and feed the homeless. We also bring clothes for them and spend time talking with them and getting to know them. At first, it was kind of awkward. I mean, what do you say to a homeless person? But after talking to them and hearing their stories...i don't know, i can't really explain it. But, it was a crazy, awesome experience. There was one guy there who did a skit for us which was pretty funny. At about 1 the vans started heading back to Gordon, but Heather and Mags were in Boston to work on Maggie's art project, so instead of going back to campus, I decided to stay with them and walk around the amazing city of Boston. I think my fear of Boston is officially gone! YAY!! I LOVED walking around on Saturday. It was such a nice day out, so that probably helped me not be scared at all. But even so, I really do like it. Not sure if I can handle nights in Boston yet, lol, but we'll get there someday I'm sure. :) Anyway, Saturday night I was all by my onesies cuz Heather and Mags had class and Sara and Alisha went to Sara's house. But it was all good. I got a lot of work done. Then Sunday I went to church with Heather, and I worked. Then I went to see Dead Man walking with Kukah (what an intense and emotional movie!!), then today I had my two classes. That's about it. Not the most interesting weekend, but it was fun. oh, and I'm still working on the indiana poem, I'm hoping to have it finished before easter. Leave me fun comments!
