in which semester dwindles, swtor fills me w/ glee and i wonder if i can drive a new pair of boots
Countdown to the end of semester: 15 days, then finals - and let's not forget that I have 6 of those days off for kthxgiving. Hooray! Last week I registered for next semester's classes, and I FINALLY wangled my way into some chemistry. I'll only be taking chem, physics (my LAST physics class might I add) and deutsch (my last required language class but probably not the last one I'll take) unless I can find some dink throwaway class that fits into my schedule b/c I'm not about to take four 4-credit classes.
SWTOR related geekery: YES James Ohlen as creative director! As well as tantalizing info about HK-47, the world's favorite brutally honest homicidal droid. And an "addictive" combat system! My fangirly excitement cannot be expressed via text.
The search for a car has extended to used car dealerships in town, though I hate to let down the salesman at work who was helping me find a car b/c he has always been helpful and kind. I just cringe at the thought of paying twice as much for the same car b/c I bought it from my dealership rather than a place that doesn't exist to hose you of your money.
I've discovered that saving money for said car is easier when I just tell myself I won't spend it, rather than socking it away in savings and can't spend it. Although we'll see how well that goes on black Friday when I fully intend to be at the mall at 5 AM, and intend to shop until I literally drop. Yay xmas shopping! (Although those of you who have been w/ me over many xmasses know that it is not xmas season until the commercial w/ Santa and the M&Ms comes on, I can still revel in the beginning of spritz-and-scarves season.)
