Random Fandom Things That May or May Not Be of Interest to the General Public

I got sort of obsessed following this lovely auction for a script signed by Catherine Tate and David Tennant a few weeks ago and am quite happy to see that it went for £770.00! I may or may not have screencapped the page for posterity.

While the script went out of my price range rather quickly, the Eve Myles autographed copy of 'Border Princes' looked like something I could swing if a) non-UK people could bid and b) I actually liked 'Border Princes' enough to want a copy.

Instead I spent my money on backissues of Doctor Who Magazine and Doctor Who Adventures. The Magazines I bought for the Catherine Tate interviews and Donna comics, the Adventures I bought solely for this:

Generally I'm not much for getting a celebrity's autograph, but I think it would be so much fun to have an autographed set of these cards.

Also, while stalking the charity auction, I found out one can own a life-sized Doctor and Donna standee. Heck, you can even get them a TARDIS! (Or the Master or Captain Jack. Oh, I'm sure you can get yourself an entire Journey's End Team TARDIS with enough searching.) I'm still not sure if I find it cool or creepy.

In other celebrity-stalking with a dash of cracked out fandom crossover news:

Sure David and Ed never actually appeared in a photo together (or in the background of the other's photos) but I sort of feel like this is a step closer to my completely ludicrous dream of having David and Leighton Meester appear in something together.
