Fannish Whinging
So, I need to get a move and start packing as I now have two tentative move out dates, but as the place has yet to be repainted (who knew there are so many shades of white to choose from?) and other than a bed, desk and my computers, I'm not really sure what else I want to or need to bring with me. The joys and perils of moving not that far away -- I can indulge in indecisiveness and laziness.
So instead of sorting through various pots and pans that I may or may not need, I shall blather on about random fandom things:
Am I just too attached to Donna and the Tennant & Tate era or is anyone else having similar "Donna already did that!" and "Ten & Donna already did that!" reactions to series 5? Seriously, Ten and Donna own the "we're not engaged married" gag.
I'm also still a little "been there, done that" regarding the whole "Sorry 'bout Killing Humans, But Our Planet Was Eaten and We're Just Trying to Save Our Species" plot from the last episode. On the other hand, while I was getting the whole 'School Reunion' Ten/Finch vibe from Eleven/EvilShrimpLady (who I did love, but whose name I never did get) I could've watched the latter's confrontation all day. It was awesome.
In Actors Who Must Work Together For My Amusement news, I've decided Simon Baker and Sophia Myles have to be in a movie together to make up for all the terrible movies I've watched because they were in it. (Granted it's only two movies on Simon's part compared to the five that I sat through for Sophia, but I'm also holding him partially responsible for possible upcoming storyline fail on The Mentalist.)
