Canon: Danny Phantom
Permission to know...: Danny's family is essentially crazy. His parents are obsessively eccentric ghost hunters, and his sister is an annoying overbearing aspiring psychology student. He's also half-ghost (a "halfa"), due to an accident with his parents' Ghost Portal in which he was electrocuted from the inside during its activation. BUT THEY DON'T KNOW THAT. The only people who do know are his two best friends (Sam and Tucker) and his sister (Jazz). He's saved his hometown as Danny Phantom more times than he can count, but even still, public opinion of him is split down the middle between superhero and public menace. Although they DO acknowledge that he's one of the town's ghost hunters. He's also got more than a handful of arch-nemesis, namely Vlad Masters (his father's college friend, who is also another half-ghost called Vlad Plasmius, is aware of Danny's status as a halfa, and wants to kill Danny's father), Valerie Gray (a ghost hunter who just so happens to also be his classmate), and "Dark Danny" (an evil version of Danny from an alternate future, who he fought once and now exists trapped outside of time). He's also got a bit of a crush on Sam, but he will vehemently deny this fact, if only because she's his best friend and he doesn't want that to get ruined.
Other: I'm down with River mentioning anything, but I'd rather get a heads up ahead of time. If only because THIS FANDOM CAN BE REALLY CONFUSING, and I'd rather answer any questions that let things be assumed, you know?
