\o/ And maybe some ice cream! Or steak!

(I'm really craving steak, for some reason.)

I'm craving chicken (which is good because I have a chicken casserole thing cooking) and lemon sorbet (which is not because I have none, and it is raining so I don't want to venture out in search). Luckily, there is all this lovely fic to take my mind of how deprived I am! *g*

“I went back to my room,” he said in a low, almost-whisper. “And it just felt wrong.”

“Rodney,” John whined, stepping forward to pull him into a kiss, soft and slow. “Here feels like home.”

You about killed me with these two sentences. But in a good way *G*

And of course John gets Carson back by pretending that he was having problems with words now.

Go Radek.

Awwww! But I don't believe John did that to Carson. Well, I do, but still. John, you dork!

[Psst - "Rodney was really very bad a dating" = "at dating"?]

Thank you for the catch!

Well, John can sometimes be kind of jerk. A big, dorky jerk. And don't worry; Carson got him back!

Poor Carson. He expects the boys to act like they've got a mental age over 10. Which is really asking far too much of them...!

The Checkmate verse never fails to make me cry--I'm getting teary thinking about it now--and I'm so glad to see this verse again, with even more happy.

Oh, thank you! That's very sweet! It's a big comfort thing for me, too.
