Apocadreams

Boy, I'm having a lot of apocalypse-type dreams. World-wide viruses, and ghost-towns and people who go stark raving mad and wow. Disturbing.

The most recent one was a world-wide virus and I was in a ghost town, weeks later, one that had been cleaned up because there was a large proportion of Middle-Earth survivors and, well, dwarves are really strong and good diggers.

Also? You've never had a stairmaster workout until you've tromped through a Victorian Mixed-Use apartment building for humans, dwarves, hobbits, ents and another, unnamed race that was very tall somewhere between ents and humans. My thighs ache just thinking about it.

Another apocadream was a world-wide virus with zombies, and we were riding around in a big van with some survivors and walkie-talkies, trying to coordinate hitting a grocery store and a Target for supplies and stuff.

There was a nice interlude where we found a day-time way station and large group of organized people having a meal (they had patrols and everything) and we had a shower. It was awesome. We were invited to stay, but for some reason, we had to get to Colorado, but we couldn't *tell* anyone we were going to Colorado, and I vaguely think it had something to do with the Stargate program.

But by and large, very disturbing end of the world type things, luckily intersperced with some of my trademark, evidently, wackiness. But ENOUGH with the ZOMBIES.
