sucking it up
so, potential new landlady called to get the # of our current landlords. i put my tail between my legs and called them to ask if it was ok to give their number and would they say positive things about us. AZ said she would, and was fairly nice. If they want us out, they can't really badmouth us. She called my work today too to verify employment - 'deis wouldn't give out any information without my consent. i need to take care of that tomorrow.
In good news, i lost another pound following thedailyplate.com calorie counting. whoohoo
Yesterday i had a pool party at my mom's for the "surgery ladies". We had a picnic last month and decided to get together again. I sit their and suck up information from their experience since everyone else has already had their surgery. My mom asked them all kinds of questions including "is that all you're going to eat?!" She's a card.
i felt guilty eating a bun with my burger. That is until her and my mom sat at the picnic table with all the food picking and grazing while the rest of us sat away from the food and talked. i probably would have eaten more...but all the food besides the meat was veggies and fruits. LOL i will learn!
