She's not missing... right?
You know how they say you never really miss anyone or want them as much as when they are not there? Well, I've had to learn my lesson the hard way.
Only last friday, Danielle was meant to go home with Lucy Hee, from the Peter Pan performance. By 10pm, she was still not home. The endless phone calls we made to her phone went unanswered. I couldn't contact Lucy either!
I called up Imogen, who informed the teachers at school of her absence.
Paranoia hit me. I thought of the very worse. What if something had happened to Lucy's car that affected everyone in it?
I would have gained ten kilograms on the spot, there and then, if that had guaranteed Danielle's safety!
However, she called up a while later, apologising for putting the phone on silent.
