hmmm
wow, its been a while since i have updated. thats prolly cause i live a boring life and dont have much to say. so lets see... what has happened since the last time i updated. well lets start with jobs. i had 2 interviews last week. one was for an aide position in a middle school right around here, and the other was a screening interview for central bucks school district. the aide position would have opened imediately if i was willing to take it. at first it sounded really good. i saw it asa foot in the door in a district and i thought it would give me a possible stepping stone to get a contract position for next year. well i was wrong. basically when i talked to the guy on the phone he said one thing and when i went fo the interview he said another. i chose to decline the offer. it would have been a huge pay cut and there would have been no interaction with kids and i saw that as more a few steps back rather than steps forward. the other interview went well i thought. it was just a screening and now if a position opens and i fit their criteria for what they are looking for they may be calling for a second interview. hopefully they will be calling me. i am still sending out resumes and applications i really need to find a job soon!!!!
other news... i got my car door fixed!!! i no longer need to worry about it falling off as i am driving down the road. and that is a very exciting thing!! we are starting to plan our trip to cancun. my cousin si getting married there so i am working on saving up so i can go. it is in november and i really looking forward to it! softball has started. we had our first game last week and we lost. we were short quite a few players. hopefully ti wont rain tomorrow and we can play and win. i think we finally found enough girls. it sucked cause all of our girls left this season and we had to find all new ones which wa a problem for us. but i think we are ok now so hopefully that work for us and it will help us win. we go down to open up the trailer next week end i am very excited for that too. that means i can start to get away for the week ends if i want to... YAY!!! ummm well i think that may be it for now...
