Политкорректное расставание
ФИВБ выложило новость об официальном расставании Эмануэля и Алисона. Все исключительно политкорректно. Алисон хочет быть поближе к семье (интересно, а кто его отпустит из лагеря сборной, или это подразумевает, что он и из сборной уходит?). Эмануэлю нужна новая мотивация для достижения новых высот.
Если учесть, что даже для хозяев на ОИ есть только два места (сомневаюсь, что одно место отдаст Сальгадо), то все это звучит как-то так...
Alison said he had a conversation with Emanuel just over a month ago, during the Rio de Janeiro stage of the Circuit Bank of Brazil about possibly bringing the partnership to an end.
"I explained to Emanuel that as I've already been out of the house for seven years, I wanted to return to Victoria to be closer to my family. He understood me. Emanuel is a father, a friend, a brother and someone from whom I learned a lot and who I respect a lot. While many partnerships end in fights in our case it has not. Instead there is affection and gratitude for all that we have had. I have matured a great deal with him and we have made history together, ” said Alison.
For his part Emanuel had this to say, “We played together for four, wonderful years. We had many victories but it was a very intense time. Prior to the start of the Olympic cycle, I needed someone to motivate me and I needed energy. And with Alison and all his vitality we formed a winning pair. We achieved our objectives and saw the results of our work and dedication, sacrifice and training. We have to thank our sponsors for supporting us for so many years as well as the CBV. We also thank our fans for pushing us and encouraging us all the time and our families who were always at our side.”
