I'm home early
I got to come home a week early because I was in the hospital Thursday night. I'm fine now, but I got really really sick. It sucked. I never want to stay in a hospital ever again. I never want to be woken up at 4 in the morning to be poked and prodded with needles. I was there to get rest and I got a total of three hours of sleep while there. Bethany and I made friends w/ many of the nurses and such. It's kinda sad that we now know half the staff at Northwestern Hospital.
Usually we go to ER for Bethany- strep throat, infected ankle, torn stitches from her tonsils- it has become routine for us. But this time it was for me. I knew the nurse who wrote my report in the ER, she gave us a lecture on smoking last time we were there. Then two of my doctors in the ER had been bethany's doctors in the past. One of them has super curly hair but its not frizzy AT ALL. So when we were there for Bethany we asked him how he kept his hair from getting frizzy. It's a little longer now and slicked back more. Still no frizz. :-)
So I had a lot of thinking time while being in the hospital. And I've decided I've been drinking WAAAY too much WAAAAY too often. I'm done drinking. Not for forever, but I don't plan on touching anything this winter break. For those of you who will be around me during winter break, I'm asking you guys to help me out with this. I don't have a problem with others drinking around me, but don't expect me to be too enthusiastic about going to bars and such. So please be patient with me. This is something that I really need to do.
Other than that I'm home for awhile and happy to be here. I probably won't be very social for the next week b/c I'm still sick and really tired. Which means people should come visit me! hint hint nudge nudge.
