I'm just going to copy and paste what I've been emailing to friends and family, since I'm lazy like that!
I had my appointment this morning and things are looking a bit better. My fluid is still up and I feel I shouldn't have a problem with that from now on since I'm drinking plenty of water. The blood flow in the cord, brain, placenta, etc. all is looking normal, so they now feel there isn't a problem with the placenta. They feel a small part may be on the septum, but not enough to worry. Katy is still measuring small (they weighed her at 1 pound 15 ounces, so she just missed the 2 pound mark. I'll be 28 weeks on Tuesday and in their little developmental book the average for 28 weeks is 2 pounds 8 ounces, so I don't feel she's horribly behind. Wayne and I now think it's just the limited room in my uterus that may be a factor in her petite size.
They now have me coming in monthly instead of weekly, but my next appointment with them is in two weeks (they wanted to measure her next week, but I made them measure her today!) so the official measurements will be monthly.
They still want me on bed rest and I agree since I think it's helping, but they are being more flexible on movement, etc. They mainly want me sitting and indoors drinking plenty of water! I'm going to see how the appointment two weeks from now goes and maybe I can do a half day here and there in the office.
So anyway, I'm definitely feeling more positive about the situation. And I think I can handle the bed rest better now, knowing that it's probably helping in keeping me focused on the pregnancy and not on work, house, etc and that it's not as strict as it used to be!
