Yesterday, I came in for a job interview for a company I liked but for a position I wasn't really in to. Miss Icie interviewed me and she's so cool! We came to the conclusion that I wouldn't really thrive in a deskjob because she sensed that my passion lies in result-oriented things and I wouldn't really get that in HR because there's no end goal there.. You're just gonna be there all throughout whereas in events, you get concrete results. She also sensed how animated and excited I was when it came to talking about events and PeaceLove&Fashion and honestly, PLF is that one thing right now that never fails to excite me.
Last Thursday, Ing and I went to re-stock our line. After succeeding in finding the perfect wifebeater and shirts, happy dance talaga. I myself was surprised with that outburst of happiness! :)) Ing even noticed that it was the first time she ever exited the mall with a happy song on the background :)) Sometimes when you're happy, everything else becomes happy. :)
I admit I'm not cut out for a deskjob that isn't result oriented. I like seeing things and I gauge success in the concrete. Maybe soon I'll find myself in a perfect job - in the right desk. :)
