haha I am so sorry, I'm trying to lead up to more external based conflict soon, it's just this relationship started with yifan not/barely verbalizing himself so we have to deal with that first. even I stare at him in this story so far and sometimes get annoyed with his huge communication problems. he will get better at this, I promise.

honestly, reading this comment made me start to worry that *I'm* projecting on him as I write this, haha.

anyway I'm very much into people projecting/assuming/deciding characters in stories and fics and shows etc. as not-neurotypical in any way and at any capacity, so go for it! idk if you'll keep seeing such....explicit parallels I guess(?), because even I don't know what's going to happen once I start editing all the rough drafts I've amassed over the months and just trying to spit this story out (i.e. such intense internal monolooguing might diminish a slight bit as we go but /big ole shrug), but if you keep reading the story when I finally start updating again, please do keep me updated on your thoughts! If you want to, I mean. I am glad you kind of feel a connection to his behavior, I kept worrying people would just find it tedious and exaggerated for no good reason, haha. but like you said he's sensitive! it's all justified in my head.

anyway, thank you for taking the time to comment, I really appreciate it.
