I'm here in Spain

Oct 13, 2004 01:18

I don't know what you know and what you don't, but I'm living in Alcala de Henares, which is like 20 miles outside Madrid, and I'm having a blast. I go to the college Alcalingua, which is the language department of the college.
In Spain almost everyday they seem to have some kind of fiestas going on, music in the streets, or some kind of entertainment going on.
I am happy here, a lot happier than I thought I was going to ever be. I haven't have felt homesick yet, I am just tired. Too much partying, I meann that's all I did the first week, night clubs, discotecas, and other fun stuff. This week I'm going to concentrate on sleep, and school, and now I have a cold, because it got cold here, and I can't tell you how cold, because it's not like I understand celsius, and I don't think I even spelled it correctly, so yah, I don't know it.
It's 1023am here which means it's 323am in Richmond, there is a 7 hour time difference, which can make it kind of hectic for phone calls.
There is a lot of shopping to be done, and I need to go get some grocery's and start buying some winter clothes.
Right now I am at the college, because I don't have internet access in my piso, so I use the internet here at the college, or the internet in an internet cafe that I found.
You all know my email address so drop me a line, let me know how it's going, what's new, and what's scandalous in good 'ol richmond.... hahaha
I'm sure there are many typos in this entry, but I'm thinking in Spanish, and I'm having a hard time spelling english, so please over look it, I don't have like to spell check.
love,
Alexa
