i have 2 midterms tomorrow and i have only finished studying one. *note to self* how productive bea! i still have to study about more than a hundred pages-worth of international studies/'global society.' talk about crap. oh well..gotta do well, roight? harhar i have a hectic week ahead of me.
anyhoo, just a little nice thing i saw today. i commuted home with jon and on the bus, some guy in a barong sat next to us. when the bus stopped to pick up more passengers, the guy stood up to give his seat to a girl. [talk about the first chivalrous filipino i've seen in a long time] when the bus was finally on it's course home, the guy in the barong started 'preaching.' he was talking to the people reading verses from the bible as if he were saying a homily. i couldn't help but admire him. i don't think anyone but jonathan and i were actually listening and it was pretty noticeable that he was very passionate about what he was trying to instill to the rest of the passengers. it's not everyday that someone stands in a crowded bus for about 15-20 minutes talking about God or virtue. he could be doing other things that pay, he just receives donations for his order i guess. oddly enough, it was heart-warming.
took a quick test. i think i'm meant to be a worm forever kathrine. :)
