(no subject)
This weekend was absolutley amazing. On friday Sturzbecher and I picked up Eric Squared (joke with one of my shipmates)and went to Mystic. We ate at Mystic Pizza and sat at the dock all night. I got back to the barracks by 0215 and woke up three hours later for duty platoon. Having watch so early in the morning sucks. It's nice to get it over with but it is tiring. Immediately after watch I had to do some volunteer things and watched the football game. Went back to my room and crashed. Haha, later on that evening I watched the Ben Deede movie with some friends and Fight Club. They thought Ben's movie was really weird and that my friends in it were, too. That was the whole point.
Sunday and Monday were the best days of the weekend. Picked up Eric Squared again at 1200 and we left for Boston. Balcunas insisted that we stopped at a high school a family member went to so we were behind schedule by about an hour. Then we got lost in Boston and had to listen to crap about wrong directions. (It was West 2nd Street confused with 2nd Avenue by the way.) The hotel room made up for it though.
Went out for dinner later that evening. I can't stand it when people walk so slow when we have such little time. Everyone thinks I was trying to ditch them....not the case.
Went to breakfast at Poor Richards in the morning in Newport and back to base for formation. Afterwards we all went to URI (after switching up the libo buddies) and eventually to my house where I took a really good nap with Eric. It is so comforting and nice to have him sleeping by my side. It just feels so perfect.
This weekend I have really realized (haha, I guess realized some more) how much Eric means to me and how wonderful he is. I am such a lucky person to have him and I wish that everyone could understand what a great relationship we have. I love him so much.
