that was my horoscope, and it is so true for this past weekend. so let me state it here and now: what a great weekend!
on friday i came home and i was quite tired, so i tried to nap, but only succeeded for about 20 minutes or so. i ate dinner, got dressed and went to belu's house. her boyfriend came over, and then we went to see some mutual friend's band play. sadly, we arrived during the last ten minutes of the show and they wouldn't let us in. but it was all good, because there was a party afterward at one of the band people's house. so we head over there and meet these girls that are belen's boyfriend's friends. they were so nice! and one of them lives near my house so we decided to come home together, and then there was another one that had lived in the US, so when they put rap-ish music we showed the rest how to freak dance. the look on the boys' faces was priceless.
at 4 30, lucia (the girl that i met that lives a block away) and i decided it was time to go home. when we got to our block we got off, but then stayed in the corner talking for like an hour. after that, i came home and went to bed.
on saturday i woke up and went to lunch with my parents, and then went jean shopping with my mom but couldn't find anything. got some coffee and then went back to my house to study for the upcoming tests this week. that night i talked to lucia and we decided to do something.
so at 1, i head over to her house and then we walk over to this guy Fran's house (he's the one who was in the band that played the day before, he is also belu's friend, so i've known him for awhile too). we meet up with the girl that lived in the us, who is named Belen also. so we hang out and talk for awhile there. then at 3 30 us girls go to another guy's house where we do the exact same thing.
at 5 30 we are ready to go home, so two of the guys walk us home since they live nearby. but we are all hungry so we decide to go to my house and eat cookies for breakfast! we hang out some more and then they leave at 7. by that time the sun is up and i felt rather silly going to bed, so i started reading but soon the sleepiness overcame me and i fell asleep.
woke up at 12 30 because my aunt and uncle and little cousins were coming to town from Santa Fe. we ate lunch and then went out for ice cream. when we got back they left for a soccer game. i wathced tv and then took a shower and at 9 i headed over to geni's house were we had a little swim team get together. my old coach came! so i was really happy to see her. beluly came over too. we hung out and talked and ate and danced and i had a lot of fun. i was quite tired, but i didnt mind. i left fairly early and was in bed by 3 30! yay (its a three day weekend, i do think i forgot to mention that)
today we woke up and went to lunch by the river. walked around, but now i'm back here. my cousins and uncle left, but my aunt is still here. i should probably study some more.
ahhh i dont want to go back to school. i really dont. its full of negative energy and stupid people saying that i dont really have friends outside of school and that i make it all up. (yep, someone said that about me on friday when there was a class bbq which i so conveniently decided not to go to)
i do think this was the first weekend i actually went out everyday since i got here.
