Ok, so tonight I was arguing with Amanda about something, and we came to the subject of valedictorian. She said that she was 2nd in the class, and that kelly c. was salutatorian. After some debate, she said that Salutatorian is anyone who has over a 4.0 GPA. No, you're wrong, said I. She then said "no you're wrong, I'm a stupid bitch blah blah blah" then signed off before I could hand her her ass on a silver platter. If you go to Dictionary.com and type in Salutatorian, you get the following:

I woulld like to emphasize one word in that defenition, the word SECOND. A Salutatorian is not, as Amanda said, someone who has over a 4.0, but the 2nd highest ranked person in the GPA system of the school. Amanda is wrong, I'm right. I just handed Amanda her ass on a platter, with trimmings.
