I think the exif data is on flickr somewhere, I shall have a look, but I think it was a case of iso 200, and then playing with the f-lock and exposure to get the dramatic look. The cheating way is to point the camera at the sun, hold the EOF lock button to lock the autosettings, and then move the camera to frame what you actually want.

Digital. It's sort of cheating a bit becuase if it doesn't look right you just take it again, but I honestly beleive I'm a much better photographer becuase of it, because you get a feel for what's going to be right, without having to expose 175 films before somehting feels about right.

True - for big prints you can't beat film, but 17megapic cameras are now around, and it's comparable. I love the solid feel of SLR's, but digital's just so handy, especially for gig photos wherelighting is normally a complete pig.
