Kaunas is gonna be the European Capital of Culture 2022 (if Russia doesn't annihilate Lithuania by that time).

The black balloon as a symbol of culture is quite surprising, but yes, it's also perceived as a solid and solemn colour in this country. The picture I made the evening before yesterday is quite random. But it still has a city hall on the left and a Roman Catholic church of Saint Francis Xavier in the middle of one ball pictured. You also see the one and only tower of the Cathedral of Kaunas on the right in this picture.
