[The comm clicks on, and she's talking into it. Just leaving the Northern Lights after another day of work. She always enjoys helping out there, it gives her something to do, and keeps her busy. Besides, she just enjoys helping others as is.]
It's really nice out tonight. You can tell it's warming up lately, though still a little nippy when the sun sets, hardly as bad as before. It's nice!
Oh! You can see the two moons! [She's looking up at the sky as she talks, walking slowly back to Latimir apartments. As she's observing the sky a low growl from the dark jumps her and she clings to her comm as she stops and peers over at it.]
H-Hello? Is... is someone there?
[-The creature that growled emerged from the shadows slowly as it stalked towards her. It was a wolf, an alpha male wolf to be exact. It was much larger and more powerful than the usual wolves that roam about these streets. The beast must have caught her scent a once she left the pub. It howled at Shiori, loud enough to call the attention of two other wolves from its pack.-]
[The howl makes her blood run cold. She's frozen in place, as if that howl had some strange affect that could do that. Though it was from fear, not any magic spell. Could she escape if she ran? Probably not, not with three of them.]
Oh... oh no... [She's of course forgotten she had her comm on, so this is of course being recorded still.]
N-Naruse... [She's clutching the comm tight to her chest, and starts to slowly back away from the wolves, fear keeping her from bolting quickly to hide.]
[-The wolves drew nearer now that she was moving away from them. They were snapping their fangs at the air, growling the entire time as the big wolf stalked closer to her. A terrifying screech came from the huge wolf just before it got ready to attack. However, before the wolf could even pounce something or rather someone charged right into the hound.-]
Hellish hounds! Meet your end! [-A horned metal *monster* appeared and slammed its cleaver-like swords right through the wolf's body.-]
Please n-no! [She cries out, bringing her arms up to shield herself as the wolf makes to attack her. Before it can though there is... something, someone, attacking it! Startled and already frightened, she screams and makes to turn and run but trips. Holding her knee that she landed on a bit hard, she watches, not sure what's going on... just that the thing attacking the wolf speaks English... so... it's a human? In the moonlight it seems like it's wearing... armor? The other wolves are not pleased by this newcomer and growl before jumping at her savior.]
[-Using the longer blade within his right hand to swipe at the two other wolves who were about to attack, the alpha male gets up shakily upon its legs. It was bleeding profusely, far too injured to be any threat to the swordsman who was now dealing with it's brethren but the bigger wolf still had it's sights upon the woman.-]
[-It let out a weak snarl before it tried to leap at her but the armored swordsman flung his second blade, the smaller one, right into the alpha wolf's back nailing it down against the cement.-]
[A hand comes up, covering her mouth as if to silence a scream, which she would have done if the bigger wolf had made a leap at her. She chokes back a scream as it's pinned to the ground before her, the blade sticking up from it's back. She's shaking and small noises come from her, as if she wants to say something, but fright has silenced her. Her eyes are wide as she watches this... man? fight the monsters. Her mind is wild, telling her to get up and run, but she can't. Her body won't move still. The shock keeping her there.]
[With the defeat of their leader, the two other wolves decided to flee. The swordsman made no attempt to chases after the fiends in fear of leaving the woman here alone. Slowly glancing over towards her, Shiori must have noticed that the horned helmet was now looking in her direction.]
[When that scary helmet turns to her, she makes a small noise. It... it wasn't going to hurt her right? It'd helped her? She wasn't so sure right now.]
Th-Thank you... [Shiori can understand English, but isn't overly good at speaking it, but what she can speak is understandable but hardly perfect.]
You... you are not bad guy? Right? [She asks, her voice quivering, she's still shaking too. It'll take a while for this fright to wear off.]
[It seemed that Shiori's awkward sentence won a slight chuckle from the armored swordsman.-] Nay, I am no villain. At least not in the sense you are trying to state.
[Sheathing both blades upon the back of his royal blue cloak, he starts to fiddle with the claps and buckles to take off his helmet. He realized that he must have looked like a beast with the horns upon his head.]
[Muffled] Are you well? [Finally snatches it off and reveals to Shiori that he is a hume after all.]
[It's relieving to see that he really is a human just like her under that scary armor. Shiori relaxes a bit seeing his face in the moonlight.]
Mm. Thank you. [She bows her head a little, before moving to stand. It's then that she sees her comm had been on through all of this. With a 'oh!' she turns it off, hoping she didn't alarm anyone.]
