It can push 1800 watts. I tested it when I got it, to make sure it can run the freezer (which doesn't take all that much power to run, but needs an awful lot to start up).
One thing I remind fellow people who also camp a lot is to use what you already have. I felt very smart when I realized I didn't need to buy more bottled water - what I did need to do is, when I went to storage for my heavy duty lanterns, also pick up my multigallon Gatorade style spigot cooler and fill it with tap water.
Had it been a more wintry storm, I would have also brought back my sleeping bags and outdoor wool blankets.
Since you don't (to my knowledge) have offsite storage where you keep your gear, that removes one step of complication.
