Time to update this shit. To somewhat continue with last time's theme of being girly.
Day 116: I think this is the only pot of eyeshadow I have.
Day 117: So the story is that I stayed late at work, forgetting that they were cutting all of our power at 6:00 to work on connecting our building to permanent power. Since the garage door at work is power operated, I couldn't get out of the garage. I had to leave my car at work and caught a ride with Hiten home. How utterly embarrassing. So this photo was taken when I was walking to the BART the morning after to catch the train to work. Le sigh.
Day 118: The sisters in our tiny states.
Day 119: I made the trial run of the
Egg and Chorizo Sandwich. The result? Fucking tasty!
Day 120: Lucille's graduation from dental school day!
Day 121: I was over at Brendan's place making the Egg and Chorizo Sandwich for everyone and Brendan bought us ice cream!
Day 122: This is the neighbor's cat. She's really sweet. The bad news is that she has two malignant tumors in her stomach and probably won't have that much time left. :( I need to take tons of photos of her and give her lots of love! :(
Day 123: I made something with scallops. It wasn't very good. :(
Day 124: My room gets the afternoon sun. So what to do with a giant window flooding with afternoon sunlight?
Day 125: I gotta send in my passport renewal form.
Day 126: I was watching CSI and painting my toe nails...then I found this note on Baotran's computer. Hah! When you have 6 cats running around, there is bound to be poop somewhere strange.
Day 127: The grapes flowers were no longer just flowers.
Day 128: Seriously, people. I'm outta ideas!
Day 129: I was supposed to go meet people for dinner but as it turned out, the one street that I was on, they blocked it for 20 minutes! I saw a million cop cars drove by but that was about it.
Day 130: Nothing. Blank.
Day 131: Leather Co. I am not sure what sorts of leather they are selling. But seeing the rainbow flag and being in San Francisco, I assume that they are selling hot leather pants and some kinky leather stuff like man thongs and such.
Day 132: I was catsitting for Helen! That is, I didn't do anything except lounged around, ate her bacons, ate her shrimps, ate her mochi, ate her frozen food, fed her cats, petted her cats, and scooped up poos. This is Lucy, she has a liver disease which makes her super bloated. The vet said that she doesn't have long to live. Therefore, she got extra pets and love. I will miss Lucy a lot because she is very very sweet.
Day 133: I went to Michael's coworker's wedding. It was super short. They read their vows (2 minutes), exchanged rings (30 seconds), got declared that they were indeed married (20 seconds). End of ceremony! I did not hang around for the reception. Seeing people getting married makes me think about myself. When I was younger, I thought that I'd have a typical life, grow up, go to work, get married, have kids, grow old. Now that I am some what considered a grown up, I find the idea of being married very unattractive. It's just not for me. I am too selfish to be married.
Day 134: Shredded water spinach salad!
Day 135: Something rotted in my backpack (I couldn't find the culprit) so I had to do a load of laundry.
Day 136: I bought a guitar. Ever since I was little, all I wanted was to learn to play a musical instrument but never got the chance. This guitar will help me tell my 8 year-old self "Kid, I'm doing this for you and I'm going to make you proud!"
Day 137: So I learned the A chord.
Day 138: I bought fake Oreo cookies because they were $2.49/pack versus $4.59/pack the real deal.
Day 139: Baotran pretended to play the guitar, but she ended up looking very much like a hippie with her cat shirt and flowing hair. :D
Day 140: Just some pretty things around the fairy tale house that my parents live in.
Day 141: JULY 4TH!
Day 142: Another pretty thing at my parents' fairy tale house.
Day 143: Back to the grind and eating La Burrita burrito. It's my favorite burrito joint since them good old college days. It's the summer so there isn't many kids around the campus, so I stopped by for some old memories.
Day 144: The boss was on vacation so double load for me!
Day 145: The boss was still on vacation so I ran out of juice by the time I got back home. This was the lights on my laptop's power button. Yeah. I was out of power.
Day 146: Grillin'
Day 147: I was catsitting for Helen again. This was taken from Helen's back balcony. The caption for this photo is City lights, city bright, I cannot see any stars tonight due to your horrible light pollution. All I can see is a haze of light reflected off the smog and fog.
